receptionist, sales assistant, translator
Undergraduate student of German & Russian Studies at the University of Manchester, I am undertaking modules regarding 19th and 20th century history and culture of both countries, as well as proper language courses. I am also studying Wirtschaftsdeutsch, Business German, to have a general understanding of the basic notions of the subject and how they apply to everyday issues. I moved away form home when I was 14 years old to pursue a career in ballet and go study in a professional ballet school based in Milano. After two years there, I moved once again, this time to Hamburg, Germany, where I attended (and graduated from) the Hamburg Ballet School. Three years later I then decide to move back to Italy and enrol in the University of Bergamo, where I spent one year. However, I felt like the Italian environment was not challenging enough for me, so I decided to apply for a transfer to the University of Manchester, where I got offered a place. I am now in Year 2 and will go abroad (to St. Petersburg) from September to June 2018. I want to keep improving my German though, so I am looking for a position during the summer in Germany.
