Description:

AMPLYFI is a Cardiff-based start-up comprised of technologists and machine learning gurus. We've invented and begun to commercialise a world-leading artificial intelligent platform that harvests and interprets all open source information held on the Internet to highlight valuable and potentially unknown market and technology disruptions. Our client base spans the globe and includes Blue Chips, government agencies and private equity firms.

Candidates
We welcome applications from bachelor's, master's, and doctoral student studying for a technical, scientific or numerical degree with an aptitude for programming.

Offer
You'll work side-by-side with experienced, successful entrepreneurs to develop some of the most advanced machine learning systems in the world. This is an amazing opportunity to advance your skills in one of the UK’s most exciting start-ups. Your challenge will be to support development and commercialisation of a technology that will be deployed this year or prototyping technology that's 18 months away from release. You’ll be the one managing a project, keeping the project on schedule and meeting targets and objectives.

Projects
In addition to exposure to AMPLYFI’s core work in machine learning, you’ll have the opportunity to get your hands dirty in 1 of 3 projects:

•    GUI Development: Frontend user interaction modules (e.g. automated query string optimisation, dynamic contextual filtering, etc.)
•    Deep Web Extraction: Big Data collation and processing (e.g. retrieval optimisation, entity extraction, tagging, etc.)
