For the fifteenth year, Little Big Land will organize English immersion camps in France for French kids.
The main goal of our programs is to promote the Anglophone culture through the planning of typical (and culturally related) activities. To do so, we hire international teams of counselors coming from any English-speaking country (any country whose main language is English) and from France. However, our French-side of the team is built around French BAFA (the French counselor diploma) graduates who have spent a long-term stay in any other English-speaking country.
As a counselor, your mission will be to take care of the children for the entire duration of the overnight camps, while planning various, culturally-linked activities. Every day you will virtually travel to one specific country of the English-speaking world and plan your activities accordingly. You will also take charge of small groups of children and help them working on their Studio Time projects so they can present it at the end of the week during the Big Show.
We are looking for people who already possess camp-related experiences, are motivated by the idea of organizing typical, cultural and fun activities while taking part of overnight camps. As a counselor, we are interested in mature, organized, adaptive and outgoing people.
We organize different 1-week sessions starting May 14 until August 26. You are welcome to apply for several of them. We pay for transportation within France and you live on site with the other campers (which means you don't pay for either food, laundry or housing.). Every session is remunerated and incomes vary according to length and experience.
