English Language students for an internship in Hong Kong.

We are looking for energetic, motivated and well organised English Language students for an internship in Hong Kong. The internship would be most suitable for students or recent graduates who are planning a career as English teachers and have completed their pedagogical studies.

The intent is for interns to engage the local Hong Kong students in the fun-learning of English through games and planned learning experiences as written in the curriculum. Our goal is to help you to be a more successful and diverse teacher in your classroom for all of your students no matter their ethnic origin or native language.

We will place you into a local school here in Hong Kong to teach oral English to Secondary School students (13 to 17 years old) who are facing the oral public examination. The teaching time per day will be from 8:00 am until noon Monday to Friday. Afternoons will be spent learning our specially developed 26 strategies for teaching to ESL (English as Second Language) students while visiting beautiful Hong Kong. We will observe your lessons and will give you immediate feedback on how your teaching is progressing. You will be involved in peer-sharing for you to determine which target strategies work best for you.

If you are interested in getting more international experience and widen your teaching strategies, this could be a perfect opportunity for you. The interns can expect to have a wonderful experience of how to teach using tried and proven strategies to ESL students here in exotic Hong Kong. In addition to their teaching experience, interns will have ample opportunity to explore Hong Kong while learning about Asian culture.
