Description: 

We are looking for an Erasmus+ trainee to work at the University of Oxford Department of Education on an international research project on higher education internationalisation that aims to link international student mobility with democratisation and involves putting together a global database and using longitudinal data analysis methods. The Principal Investigator of the research project is Maia Chankseliani, Associate Professor of Comparative and International Education.

The traineeship can last from a minimum of 9 months to a maximum of 12 months (the start date and the duration are negotiable).

The trainee must

a) be a master’s or doctoral student or a recent graduate in any social science discipline from a higher education institution holding an Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education (the list of these available from: https://eacea.ec.europa.eu/erasmus-plus/actions/erasmus-charter_en)

b) possess excellent writing skills in English

c) have excellent quantitative analysis skills

d) be highly motivated and proactive.

Candidates with demonstrated experience of researching higher education internationalisation / student mobility / democratisation will be given a preference.
