We are looking for a Erasmus+ intern to work on a international trade project, relative to war preparations. Suitable candidate must hold at least a bachelor degree, thus he/she sould be at master or PhD level.

Main tasks are:

  1. Collect data from IMF, Un comtrade, WordBank, and other open databases
  2. Clean and organize datasets
  3. Make descriptive statistics reports
  4. Visualize data (maps, graphs, etc)

 

Requiremetns:

Policy Advisor - European Affairs

Function

In this role, you will support the Fujitsu European Affairs Team in Brussels, focusing on monitoring EU regulatory developments and advising the Team on the best advocacy strategy in the conduct of digital Transformation Business area. You will do so by supporting the Team in ensuring effective cooperation and coordination with relevant stakeholders, and by developing and leveraging working relationships with the EU Institutions. You will participate in a range of different meetings where you will actively promote Fujitsu policy messages. You will work closely with your colleagues by reporting internally on your areas of responsibility. You will also support the development of external advocacy tools and publications, including position papers, as well as internal-external communication materials.

Tasks

  • Monitoring and gathering intelligence on EU regulatory and policy developments relevant for Fujitsu in the digital products and services industry; identifying and flagging up new key issues of potential relevance.
  • Analysing EU developments on conduct of business issues.
  • Regularly reporting internally and to members and collaborating with colleagues across the Team in Europe and Japan.
  • Advising on appropriate lobbying strategies, and contributing to their implementation, including by participating in advocacy activities, promoting the policy messages and representing Fujitsu in meetings with EU institutions, Trade Associations, International Organisations and other stakeholders.
  • Building trusted and influential relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Providing support for the development of the Fujitsu positions papers.

 

Profile

  • A minimum experience in EU affairs with an excellent knowledge of EU policy making, ideally in the digital and-environmental sectors.
  • University level education, preferably in an area related to EU studies, law, economics, international relations or engineering.

Since 2016 Coding Bootcamp Praha has empowered hundreds of people to change their careers through its high-quality and innovative teachings. Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting in web development and cooperating with other web developers
  • Writing well designed, testable, efficient code in JavaScript and/or PHP by using best software development practices
  • Creating a website layout/user interface 
  • Test and update students project, later on, you might contribute as a mentor during daily exercises

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Student or a recent graduate in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Informatics or a relevant field

Web Developer (Javascript) (40hrs/week) – Remote or Hybrid.

 

The role can be done fully remote, but also a hybrid model with times where you are working from our Sofia-office is possible. Do you have some theoretical background and want to work on real projects? Here is the right internship for you!

 

Your profile:

  • You have completed at least two years of your university education in a matching discipline (computer science, or any other subject where you learned a bit about coding)

  • Very good level of English and/or German

  • Software development skills (mostly Frontend: HTML, CSS and - most impolrtant - advanced Javascript; some PHP skills would be benefitial)

  • Enthusiasm, flexible approach to work and a 'can do' attitude

  • Readiness to work independently

  • First experience in web development, ideally with Wordpress (here in particular plugin modification and plugin development)

  • A sound understanding of the development of small browser extensions (for our team's productivity) would be a great asset, but is not required - if you are interested to learn the basics, this is also fine!

The job profile

  • Support our team in various software-related fields, e.g. research for tools on the market for a particular task (yes, we like open source!)

  • Keep our websites in shape (mostly Wordpress) - add functionalities with plugins, and if there is none, try to develop one by yourself (we are talking about very simple plugins of course)

  • You will work hand-in-hand with our in-house webdesigner. She is more on the design part, so in particular with Javascript one could certainly support her

JMI Programs & Communication - LOOKING FOR ERASMUS+ INTERNS!

 

Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI) is the world’s largest youth-music non-profit organization with members in over 70 countries worldwide. Through its network and programs that use the power of music for social change, the JMI network reaches over 7 million young people annually. To manage and run all these activities and projects, every year, JMI offers exciting internships within its many different programs and departments. We are now looking for new interns for the last term of 2022 and the first half of 2023. Interns will become core members of our close-knit, industrious team based in Brussels, Belgium. 
 

General Duties and Responsibilities
Interns will work between 10:00 and 17:00 between Monday and Friday. The tasks that the intern needs to undertake are described in the section below. The tasks will be provided progressively and according to the needs/priorities of the organization.

Foreseen general tasks include:

  • Liaising with JMI Members and international partners.
  • Support the Programs Director and the Programs Manager in the daily organizational management of projects, programs and events, both online and offline.
  • Support the draft and preparation of communication documents and contents (articles, newsletters, press releases, social media posts, website updates, etc.).
  • Support the preparation and implementation of international meetings and events in JMI's current projects/programs.
  • Support the Programs and Communications teams in the general documentation, monitoring and reporting of JMI's ongoing programs and activities.

Terms

  • JMI only hosts interns with Erasmus+ traineeship bursaries or from similar University Programmes.
  • JMI offers a modest monthly allowance for lunch meals and covers work-related local transportation within Brussels.
  • Internship cycles run throughout the year with a minimum required commitment of 3 months. Please refer to the table above for periods and tasks as per the different programs and departments.
  • Full-time internships are preferred but arrangements on a part-time basis may also be considered.
