Marketing and translation project management internship in Berlin! (flexible start date)

Marketing/Project management: Do your compulsory internship at AccessEast, Berlin!

We are looking for curious interns who are willing to take on new responsibilities. We are a small translation agency in Berlin, and we translate a variety of documents into all world languages for startups like Honeypot and Bolt, as well as for medium-sized German companies and big corporations such as Forbes.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Playing a role in the launch of our new social media marketing campaign, proofreading and improving the posts and helping with the visual design
  • Proofreading scripts and assisting the manager in planning explanatory videos on the themes of internationalisation, translation and intercultural communication, which we will be uploading on YouTube
  • Writing newsletters and segmenting potential clients
  • Communicating with our translators and helping to coordinate, document and plan translation projects
  • Recruiting new freelance translators, and various other impromptu tasks which arise (translation/proofreading as well)

 

What we are looking for:

  • You’re studying a subject in the field of languages, linguistics or business administration
  • Your university requires you to do a compulsory internship
  • Experience with social media or marketing is not necessary, but desirable
  • You are interested in languages, internationalisation, culture and economics
  • You are driven, open, reliable and appreciate clear communication
  • You aren’t afraid to take on responsibility and enjoy working independently
  • You speak German to a native level, are fluent in English (C1) and preferably also in another language such as French, Spanish or Russian

What would you do at school?

A Language Assistant is, who supports the school’s language teachers and helps students with practice. Their tasks include encouraging oral practice of the foreign language; explaining the culture of their home country; helping with other subjects such as science, art, P.E.; and collaborating with teaching staff in creating teaching materials and planning your own lessons.

Internship at the International Relations, Development and Communication (IRDC) Unit of the Open University of Cyprus

The International Relations, Development and Communications (IRDC) Unit of the Open University of Cyprus welcomes applications for an intern (undergraduate or postgraduate student and/or recent graduate) within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.  For further information please refer to the attached file.

Key tasks (you can choose from of the two options or apply for both of them):

Α. Administrative support for the International Relations Unit:

  •  Administrative support for the European and international programmes of the Open University of Cyprus.
  •  Administrative support to the OUC Mobility Office (key responsibilities include: providing information to students and staff of OUC and partner universities regarding Erasmus+ mobility actions, supporting the design of information material (both printed and online), drafting Erasmus+ bilateral agreements, etc.).
  • Administrative support to the IRDC services (key responsibilities include: preparation of presentations, letters and documents).
  • Administrative support for issues related to the University’s international collaborations (key responsibilities include: research potential partner universities, assist in drafting memorandum of collaboration and bilateral agreements etc.).

 

B. Graphic design for the Communications Unit

  • Conceptualization, design and production of visual solutions for a wide variety of formats and dissemination outputs for Open University of Cyprus. These can include: banner design, flyers design, design of booklets, animated banners, banners for social media, infographics etc.
  • Interns will also perform a variety of tasks related to producing and publishing products, including editing, creating, and processing text and graphic products for web, and hardcopy dissemination.
  • Assisting in OUC’s video production and editing (i.e. prepare videos for OUC YouTube Channel, editing videos of various lectures and events, etc.).
  • Administrative support for tasks related to the University’s Communications Department (that can include duties, such as assist in organising press conferences, Erasmus+ promotional events and outreach activities, assist in designing information brochures, promotional material, press releases, OUC social media etc.).
