All applying candidates have to be confirmed to receive an Erasmus+ learning agreement by their education institution covering the whole internship period.

The main tasks of the Trainee will be:

  • English language teaching of diffeent levels
  • English language workshops/seminars with students
  • Assistance in setting up new projects, events for students

Event Manager

We are looking for a profile for the Event Manager position, able to plan and organise promotional, business and social events. The candidate will be responsible for planning and running a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly. As an event manager, the candidate will work together with the senior management in planning and organising conferences, seminars and exhibitions, as well as workshop and co-design or co-creation events.

The candidate will be in charge of managing the whole process from the planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working as part of a team.

Main responsibilities as Event Manager:

  • liaise with clients and partners to find out their exact event requirements. If proprietary events, ability to engage external sponsors and to develop sponsorship programmes and offering

  • research venues, suppliers and contractors, then negotiate prices and hire

  • manage all pre-event planning, organising guest speakers and delegate packs
  • coordinate suppliers, handle client and partner queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
  • manage a team of staff, giving full briefings
  • organise facilities for car parking, traffic control, security, first aid, hospitality and the media
  • make sure that insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are followed
  • oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently
  • produce post-event evaluation to inform future events
  • research opportunities for new clients and events.

Qualifications
A degree or HND in event management, hotel or catering management, leisure and tourism, marketing or business will be considered as an asset.
