Agriturismo Beatilla is a family-owned Art Eco Design Farm Resort unique in Italy for its concept, located in the beautiful countryside of Italy (Marmirolo, Mantova), but very close to the city center. The company offers different accommodations, such as apartments and rooms, all decorated following different concepts: eco design, the “handmade”, up-recycle, art, and the color therapy. The practical training / Internship includes hand-on experience working all-round levels and hotel tasks in departments such as Food & Beverage and Housekeeping; Guest relations, Reception, Front Office, Quality Service & Checking Maintenance, Small Funny Farm Operations & Maintenance, Marketing and Sales activities. 

*Some activities such as Front Office and Sales & Marketing will be also agreed according to the candidate Italian Language Level and depending on individual candidate capabilities and experience, as we use booking engine, channel manager and a property management system to manage all reservations and Ota's. Beatilla is family/small company but with an high level of web marketing, so very challenging for the trainee.

The Farm has also an organic department to grown vegetables and fruits. 

During the internship, jobs involve the following:

The internship is valid for a period from two (2), three (3) to six (6) months depending on individual circumstances. The internship is valid anytime during the year. 

Food : Free breakfast / lunch meals included (only at the work place and during work hours)
Transportation: Bicycle rental free use
Working hours: 6,5 hours per day - 1 day off per week 
Financial compensation: Bus Transportation

Candidate Requirements:

You are studying Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Hotel, Hospitality, Tourism, or Leisure studies. You are young, enthusiastic and want to spent quality time during practical training combining work placement with pleasure next to wonderful Italian landscapes, culture and atmosphere.

After this experience the successful applicant will learn what means managing a a small/medium company size in the Hospitality/Tourism Industry by taking care about all tasks and by developing unique and strategic concepts to be “different” from other competitors in a international environment. This experience will give you the basis to open your own business in the hotel/hospitality industry on day, and becoming and Entrepreneur.

Additional Requirements:

We are constantly on the lookout for hands-on, fast learning students wishing to complete a traineeship in a growing and dynamic European association. Please note: we can only accept candidates that are students (preferably working towards achieving a Master’s degree) and enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the traineeship. The traineeship must be part of the candidate’s study programme and the candidate must have an Erasmus scholarship in order to be eligible.

What else do you need to join our team?

• Proficiency in English and very good French;
• Some previous knowledge of and interest in EU digital policies and/or EU funded projects;
• General computer literacy (WordPress), knowledge of CRM software is an asset;

What you can expect from us:

You will contribute to the execution of our communications strategy, by providing all round support in the following activities:

• Writing articles, press releases, social media posts, mailing campaings, etc., under the supervision of the Communications Officer and Project Managers;
• Maintaining and updating the website, social media and contact database;
• Assisting in the organisation of events;
• Attending and reporting on meetings and other internal and external events
• Carrying out ad-hoc research and outreach assignments.

We are Prague based NGO, Schola Empirica and it is already 16 years as we organize the Prague Summer Schools. PSS is the weeklong academic programs, which brings together motivated and talented students from different parts of the world to enjoy their holidays in a unique learning and cultural environment. Before the conference, PL will work on daily basis tasks, such as Database Management, Coordination of Application Process, Communications, Logistics, etc. This process will allow the intern to get acknowledge with the project, its program, and work closely with the whole PSS2020 Faculty and Team. Each PL will receive a training course and will be assigned to one of the six PSS2020 groups. The PL will be responsible for the assigned group of approx. 20 students and during the whole week of PSS2020 will act as leader of the group while supporting the professors and PSS2020 organizational team members. Each PL will have the opportunity to join the lectures, participate in social events, dinners as well as the Farewell party free of charge.  *This internship applies especially to those students who focus on social sciences and ideally study one of these disciplines: Law, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Education, Behavioral Economics, International Relations, European, Asian and Developmental Studies. However, all the candidates who will submit their applications the PL position will be considered equally.
