Recepcionist Hostel Internship Barcelona/Camp Nou October 2019 (EU passport)

**WE ARE LOOKING FOR ONE PERSON TO START DURING IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2019**

Hello!

We are small size hostel with capacity of 84beds, located in the Barcelona/Hospitalet de Llobregat, metro stop Collblanc, which is a direct metro line from the airport and it easily communicates us with the city of Barcelona. Our big point is that we are a stone throw away from the famous FC Barcelona stadium, Camp Nou. We are located in the neighbouthood of Hospitalet de LLobregat, very local, calm and budget friendly area. Our motto is to put our customer on the first place and we always form a great team of the employees (small family in fact).

Currently, we are looking for an intern with a traveler soul, curiosity and a great sense of customer care (and humour!). You will learn about the hostel/hospitality management and all operations (reception, reservations, housekeeping, event organization) in a human-scale company. This job is ideal for anyone wanting to learn how to run a hostel, for one who thinks about working in the Hospitality Industry or someone who simply wants to travel (perfect start to find a job in any other hostel all around the world). In the hostel, we are organizing many social events for the guests (free dinners, guitar nights etc) and, of course, our employees can participate in them, but more importantly, create them!

Your work tasks will include: 

  • reception

  • organization of the events

 

Day Shift Internship (40 hours/week) morning and afternoon shifts. Night Shift, (35 hours/week). Rotative working shifts. Communicative Spanish and English required. Great opportunity to learn/ improve your Spanish in the Spanish speaking environment (we always keep our working environment half Spanish and half English).

 

Paid 200€ netto/month + accomodation for staff only+ usage of all facilities (washing machine, Wi-Fi)+participation in the events (free breakfast).
