VisionSpace is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for helping to develop and follow up marketing campaigns for products in aerospace/satellite industry. The candidate will have the opportunity to work side by side with engineers and investigators with several years of experience in Space and open source intelligence gathering. 

You will be assisting with:

• Creation of social media content;
• Supervision and maintenance of company's public channels (i.e.: Linkedin, Twitter, blog, others);
• Promotion of the brand to connect with potential customers, using the internet and other forms of digital communication;
• Rebranding company's products and services;
• Re-creating media to allow for portfolio management re-grouping.

VisionSpace is developing an Human Computer Interface on the cloud for Cube and Small Satellites. The trainee will take duties in development tasks, leveraging his/her knowledge in the sector and will potentiate the skillset for a promising career in AeroSpace industry.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze the current MCS state of the art
• Assist the team leader and the project manager with regards to the architecture and design of the MCS
• Develop the Mission Control System with the rest of the team
• Create compiling technical documentation
• Performance test and analyses of the MCS elements being developed

Your profile

• Education at a University level within technical subjects (Information Technology) or certificate of apprenticeship within Computer Science, Software Development or in a relevant technical area; Lack of University education can be replaced by relevant experience
• A genuine interest in the space business and technical interest in satellites
• Ability to think practical, work structured and solution-oriented, experience with Java programming.
• Ability to set priorities and dependable in delivering within a time frame
• Computer literate (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access);
• Able to work with minimum supervision as well as in a collaborative environment
• Great interpersonal skills
• Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset.

We are looking for an English Language Assistant that can work full time in our school working with all of the levels (from 3 years old to 11 years old) during the next school year (October 2022-May 2023). The language assistant will be responsible for taking small groups of children to do oral games with them, helping the English teacher, supporting the school projects speaking in English and planning together with the English teacher. We are looking for someone energetic, positive and someone used to working with kids. This person is required to have a C1 and speak English at all times. We are a very welcoming school with an optimistic attitude towards our work and enjoy doing activities together. We are flexible regarding the timetable and dates but we expect a minimum of 3 months stay and ideally between 6 to 8 months. WE ARE NOT OPEN IN SUMMER. We have other language assistants in the school.

- Work, together with the project managers, in the global preparation of the project, from its idea to its execution.
- Analyze each project, breaking down its needs, in order to organize and coordinate resources and personnel, both in the pre-production of the event in the office, until the execution of the event itself.

The Language Learning Hub (LLH) is a busy resource centre within the School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics (MLAL) at the University of Limerick, Ireland. Much of the work will involve dealing with language students and MLAL staff. The LLH provides resources in many different media and in many different languages to learners, teachers and researchers in languages and cultural studies as well as language learning activities.

Duties

• Ensuring that the Language Learning Hub is kept tidy at all times
• Helping language learners to improve their language skills through video and audio material, books, and other material
• Handing out material to students and lecturers
• Ensuring all material is accounted for and signed out (updating the borrowing databases)
• Assisting lecturers and students in locating relevant/required material
• Assisting staff with equipment (camcorders, interactive white board, scanner, audio lab, data projector etc.) and with room booking
• Assisting students with computer queries and general language learning software
• Copying material
• Making photocopies and scans of documents, leaflets, bookmarks, signs, tickets, name cards, etc.
• Covering breaks and lunches
• (Interested students can also choose to act as Language facilitators for discussion groups or one-to-one sessions in their native language if French, German or Spanish)

The trainee will be in contact with her mentor every day who will be evaluating her progress both in English and in the skills necessary to perform the tasks at hand.
