Your project:
PREDICTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT OF SPECIFIC SAFETY MEASURES

In  2018, road traffic annual deaths  reached 1.35 million worldwide.  In  order to define priorities on next generation ADAS systems we need to understand  accident causation  and main contributing factors of most common accidents. TAP is performing research activities in collaboration with a prestigious Fraunhofer IVI Institute in Dresden and has access to GIDAS (German  In-Depth Accident  Database) which contains detailed  descriptions  at accident level,  participant level and person level.

Purpose of the study:
- Define several active and passive safety measures
- Estimate their effectiveness and penetration rate
- Predict their impact on accidents rate
- Develop a methodology to perform exploratory analysis of accident data

This will generate different types of activities:
• Data analysis, management and predictive analysis
• Exploratory analysis of accident data:
• to a lesser extent : documentation
