TOYOTA MOTOR EUROPE (TME) Head Office and R&D center are based near Brussels in Belgium. Division information:
As part of TME R&D organization, the Powertrain Division is responsible for local development of powertrains for vehicles built in one of the TME production plants, and for planning and research of new European technologies. Latest focus points include electrification, big data and connectivity.
Your project:
You will contribute to developing Toyota’s future Electric Vehicles (EV) sound. The project’s focus is
to study current performance of EV sound quality of vehicles on the market.
- Measure level and contribution of Toyota and competitor vehicle’s noise
- Identify customer’s likes and dislikes
- Tune the sound towards a pleasant and appreciated future proposal
Your profile:
• University student with at least 2 yrs of study already completed.
• You have a European EEA citizenship. (not requiring a visum to work in Belgium)
• You must be a student for the entire duration of the internship
• Open personality and able to work independently with a hands-on mentality
• Fluent in English (reading; writing; speaking)
• Able to summarize and explain complex technical information in a clear and visual way.
• Practical experience with NVH (Noise/Vibration/Harshness), Electric Vehicles and TPA (Transfer Path Analysis) is an asset
• Appreciated specific computer skills: Siemens Simcenter Testlab, B&K Connect, Matlab, Diadem…
