Our Division
TME Purchasing plays a key strategic role in the development of our future products. Buyers & Engineers develop and manage all aspects of the commercial relationship between Toyota and its suppliers, located all over Europe. We are on daily communication with our plants to ensure they receive quality products, on time, at competitive price.

Our Group – Body-1 section
We are responsible for the purchase of functional parts (e.g. lamps, multimedia, steering wheel…) in interaction with final customers. We are responsible for the turnover of 2,000M€ OE (original equipment mass production) parts buying per year and buying tools for new projects for 150M€ per year.

Your project
You will be located in Brussels Head office in the technical center.
After a period of integration to learn our internal way of working, philosophy, we will request your contribution by assisting experienced buyers. This is what we call “on the job training” to have a real experience of the buying function including visits to our plants and suppliers.
We are preparing the strategies for the next platform vehicle. You will actively participate to set the planning, prepare internal meetings to set the direction, investigate what is available on the market at competitors, arrange meeting, presentation with key suppliers. Your fresh ideas will be highly appreciated as young generation view on the functions.

Your profile
• Currently Master student in Purchasing or Business Management
• Analytical, problem solving and perseverant
• Accurate with numbers and strong project management control skills
• Flexible and proactive, with entrepreneurial spirit
• Focused on targets and highly determined to deliver results
• Multicultural, proactive and willing to be a team player in an international environment
• Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
