Vehicle Performance Engineering – Driving Dynamics
Team of 16 engineers, we are responsible for Advance Driving Assistance System (ADAS), Vehicle Dynamics, suspension, steering and brake for vehicles designed and built in Europe. Our work is shared between vehicle project development, performance improvement, benchmarking and production support (9 manufacturing plants in EU).
Your project:
DRIVER BEHAVIOUR MODELING THROUGH BIG DATA AND AI FOR NEXT GENERATION ADAS/AD
Towards the big challenge of autonomous driving (AD) vehicles, we are researching how to extend ADAS function towards AD. Understanding the human behavior and taste is key to a seamless introduction of this new technology in the market. Considering the complexity and variety of situation in real-life driving we need to research innovative approach for system development.
The internship work will consist in studying naturalistic driver behavior through big data, developing an analytical pipeline to extract classify and predict the driver and traffic behaviour using AI & Machine Learning technics. Our onsite Driving simulator allows our engineer to have short confirmation loop at every step of the development process. The internship work will also include documenting and reporting its work.
This internship is suitable for 1 student.

Your profile:
- Student in final year study of Master degree of Data Science/Statistics
- Good knowledge in Python/Matlab, Statistics, human factor
- Flexible team player
- Fluent in English.
