2024 Medical Internship in Africa

Our healthcare program gives you set of positive circumstances that makes it possible for you to explore and learn new things regarding to your program. That is having direct contact with patients under the super vision of local medical team, Having one on one direct communication with the medical officer in charge, visit many places during the outreach program and have yourself immersed in the culture of the people. This means that our program is structured in such a way that under the supervision of the local doctors, you are given the opportunity to practically do lots of work in the hospital. It is not just following the doctors. STAESA medical elective program is well structured learning experience in field of your interest. The content and settings of the placement are largely decided by STAESA, the intern and in some cases we involved  the university. 

Activities include the following:     (1) Working side by side with the medical officer in charge (2) Visiting patients in the ward with medical team. (3) Having one on one questions and answers regarding the program with the medical officer in charge (4) Observing procedures in the consultation room and in the theater. (5) Many other duties in the wards and at the OPD with the nurses. (6) Outreach program in the villages.
