Description: 

Intern's role:

Assist the Head of Advocacy and Research in:

  • managing EU projects in the field of teacher education, individual pupil mobility, rceognition of learning outcomes of study abroad periods
  • organising meetings/events (logistics, contacts with participants)
  • attending online and in-person meetings related to advocacy and research projects
  • drafting reports of meetings
  • conducting desk research

Intern profile:

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in political science or educational sciences
  • Excellent knowledge of English (C1), especially writing skills
  • Familiarity with the use of social media
  • Interest in research
  • Interest in the topics related to EFIL's projects: global and active citizenship education, intercultural learning, volunteering, cooperation between non formal educators and schools, civil society participation in EU policy making.
  • Acquainted with the use of Excel and the management of data
  • Assets:
    • Experience in non formal education, facilitation and public speaking
    • Fluent in French
    • Experience as an exchange student
    • Familiarity and previous experience with AFS

Conditions:

This internship is available only for students who hold a Erasmus+ grant as a contribution to your travel and subsistence costs.

The successful applicant must be currently enrolled in higher education institutions in Programme countries at Bachelor or Master level, or be a recent graduate, and be willing/able to apply for an Erasmus+ grant at their Higher education institution.

The traineeship must be relevant for your degree-related learning and personal development needs and, wherever possible, be integrated in your study programme.

This traineeship will last 6 months. You can benefit of an exchange abroad with Erasmus+ multiple times, either as a student or as a trainee, but your total time abroad (study abroad periods included) may not exceed 12 months within one cycle of study.
