The trainee will participate to design / prototype / test and validation phases at a direct contact with researchers, analysts and engineers belonging to real-world industrial environment, where IIOT based and cyber-physical systems operate systematically. The opportunity is huge to enter the real environment and apply skills and capacities directly in the context of complex / integrated hybrid human-machine ecosystems, learning from direct and concrete experience how to implement original / genuine AI modules. The trainee will be trained, mentored and supervised by senior people dealing with the subjects involved in the complex system where the original modules will be tested. Experts and researchers from universities will integrate further capacities (i.e. in NLP, science of networks applications, physics of complex systems, additive manufacturing; as well as principles of design and prototyping complex/integrated systems, process management, innovation strategies). The contextual residency of a continuos-refreshing group of highly innovative startups and fast growing SMEs, within the same place, will add stimuli and opportunity to the training period programme.
The candidate should be confident with providing full source code with genetic algorithms, evolutionary / passing vehicle search, nature-inspired, real parameter optimization problems addressed to artificial robot colonies, programming AI interfaces, machine learning modules (including supervised and unsupervised learning), "cognitives", and metaheuristics.
