Who we are: Feelin is a belgian startup active in Martech (Marketing Technology). After a first fund raising and the creation of a Proof Of Concept, the project goes into a second phase of development.

Feelin is a digital platform allowing to analyze the emotional reactions of an audience after viewing video content. These reactions are analyzed by "physiological" measurements obtained thanks to the different sensors of smartphones. The platform is divided into two main parts; one available to customers (website) and the other available to testers (mobile application).

The application part involves many challenges; integration of multiple APIs & SDKs in the application, calibration and use of various smartphone sensors (camera, microphone, gyroscope...), etc. The project requires the use of the latest functionalities of the smartphones and presents itself as innovative on the technologies used. The customer interface part involves a great deal of user-centered thinking to define as best as possible the way to visualize data.

The internship :

- Depending on your skills and what motivates you the most, you will be able to participate in different parts of the project

- Develop new functionalities of the mobile application (gaming, payment module and/or credits, live tutorials ...) or the customer interface (administrator portal, data visualization, creation of data mining modules for advanced users ...)
- Participate in research aiming to optimize the use of smartphone sensors to refine the results obtained (accelerometer & front camera)
- Manage the various user management issues of the mobile application and customer interface (database management, data processing optimization, database security, etc.)

The profile we're looking for:

- Student in mobile development / computer engineer / Computer Science
- Duration of the internship: 3 months minimum
- Languages: Ideal FR but not mandatory. Without the mastery of FR, English level B2+ required
 
- Depending on your studies & skills, you join the project to help us on : Java (Kotlin is a +), C++, Python, Web technologies (HTML/CSS), knowledge of the android framework, Cloud Solution (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
 
- Your personality? You like teamwork and being at the center of the different technologies of a project. You love solving problems, being proactive and overcome complexe challenges.
