Arabic teacher

Are you a language student and a prospective language teacher? Do you speak Arabic or are an Arabic native speaker? Do you want to learn from enthusiastic teachers and from an innovative language school ? You must be enrolled in a European University and have been awarded an Erasmus grant for internship. If you answer yes to these questions, you must read this.

What will my tasks be?

The Erasmus student will mainly collaborate with the team of Arabic teachers in their class routines designing and putting into practice activities and communicative situations to promote the improvement of our students' linguistic competence. In short, s/he will be involved in the daily life of the educational institution.

Language requirement

Modern standard Arabic (minimum C1 or native speaker)

English or Spanish (B2) are a plus.

Hours per week:

Full time (i.e. 25 hours/week maximum).

Help towards transport/food, help with accommodation

In-kind support is provided in terms of help in the search of accommodation. A mentor shall be appointed, who will be responsible for welcoming the student and assuring his or her integration into the school and local community. This teacher will be key point of contact in the school. S/he will send the Erasmus documentation on the school and the local area, meet and greet the assistant on arrival, allow time to settle in and help in the integration into the local community, amongst other things.
