Description:

We are a graphic design agency who work across print and digital in the UK.  We are offering the opportunity to join a small team and work on real projects and the benefit of learning in a real working environment.  We would expect the intern to work a wide range of design projects but also help in providing info-graphics used in social media.  We are also looking to branch into small-scale video for social media so you would be able to influence and demonstrate your skills.  We are working with a partner in VR and Computer Generated images of office developments.  We are looking for someone who has skills with Adobe Premier but we will also provide professional training.  An understanding of how to use Photoshop will help but that's an area we can help with as is InDesign.

Examples of the type of projects can be seen on the following account: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeZaufjhsDkbJavq_yQdXiQ and the development you would be working on at www.finzelsreach.com

We will help with training from a very experienced designer and marketing director.  We will also help in extending your experience with partner companies with the opportunity to expand your skills.

Why Bristol?

Surrounded by the hills of South West England, Bristol has a unique identity and is home to many artists, musicians, actors and film directors.

It’s a University town with over 50,000 full-time students, and is also home to Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep!

Bristol is compact enough to get around on foot, yet offers a huge variety of cultural activities, international restaurants, festivals (including Europe’s largest hot air balloon festival) and shopping. There are acres of parks in and around the city –Bristol was named as European Green Capital in 2015.

There is a rich maritime heritage and a selection of fantastic museums which tell the story of this fascinating city. In the heart of things is the restored “floating” harbour where it’s possible to sail, paddleboard, enjoy a ferry ride or just walk and enjoy the great views.  To escape the city, walk across the famous Suspension Bridge to discover 850 acres of woodland and grassland in Ashton Court and Leigh Woods.

Bristol is also a gateway to some of the UK’s best and most beautiful places. Bath is only 22km away (you can cycle there using the traffic-free cycle path!) Oxford, Wales, Stratford Upon Avon, Cornwall and Devon are all within easy reach.

London is only 90 minutes by train and it’s a 30-minute drive to the city centre from Bristol International Airport.
