Barista café / social media support

We are looking for motivated interns who want to work at a coffee shop and learn how to become a professional barista. 

We are an international team running a coffee shop and a bike shop in Vienna's biggest urban developing area called Seestadt aspern. In February 2020 we are going to open up a new shop next to the subway station with outside seating. You'd be working alongside a motivated team of baristas, bike mechanics and people working in sales. 

You will be trained along the way in the following areas:  Taking orders at the counter and working at the till. Preparing drinks and snacks. Serving customers. Café management, clearing and cleaning dishes. Pretty much everything that needs to be taken care off at a café.  As we try to be very active on social media, additionally you will be responsible for creating social media content and posting it.  

What we expect from you: Interest in specialty coffee and working as a barista. You should be motivated in learning and practicing how to prepare the perfect cup of coffee and how to master latte art. We are a small business with strong ties to our customers, many of which are our regulars. We expect outgoing personalities with a positive attitude towards our customers. You need to be flexible and need to bring along a hands-on mentality. That means that within the team we support each other with whatever task is necessary to run the coffee shop. We expect our interns to be present at least four days a week for 8 hours a day. For our customers basic knowledge of German is necessary. Doesn't have to be perfect though.
