We are looking for a Business Analyst or Financial Analyst to work together with our team in the evaluation of financial assets in the process of company creation (startups), with a specific focus on managing relation with investors. The specific task will deal with supporting our portfolio startups in elaborating their economic and financial plan, assess the pre-money, elaborate financial projection and curate the relation with potential investors in the deal flow. The candidate will have the following skills:

  • excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach;
  • a strong interest in business and business development;
  • an excellent understanding of information technology;
  • excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to early stage investors, sometimes acting as a translator between parties;
  • the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects;
  • a passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.

A good command in communicating with internal colleagues to understand the needs of teams (startups), colleagues and the organisation as a whole to

gain agreement, usually from senior management;

capacity in supporting the staff and teams in making the recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues related to the incubation and acceleration programme at the hub.

Additional Information

The candidate will work in close relationship with our portfolio startups teams and will learn how to elaborate real economic and financial plans and projection to be further presented to investors. The candidate will work together with our startups part of our incubation/acceleration programme; the candidate will learn to use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes for the startups to raise capital; to produce written documentation, report on key findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary; ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, this will increase his/her capacity of taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on the evaluation.
