Who we are:
We are an education technology start-up based in central London. BeReady was established in order to develop the employability and 'soft skills' of school age students and university graduates to aid their transition into the workplace. We create free, accredited online training which enables students to develop their skills whenever they wish, wherever they may be. To find out more about our work, please visit www.bereadygroup.org
The Role:
As a Business Assistant you will work across a variety of functions, including marketing (both digital and offline), partnerships, administration, sales and IT.
Some typical tasks include:
- Researching potential clients and partners
- Using networking sites such as LinkedIn to identify and approach relevant sales leads
- Writing sales reports
- Devising B2B email campaigns
- Social media marketing strategy and campaigns
- Developing partnerships with universities and schools across the UK
- Organising meetings with potential clients and speaking over the phone with school partners
- Creating websites and online content
Skills Required:
We are a start-up and that means that not all activities go to plan. Therefore, the essential skills we look for when recruiting are a drive to learn, a sense of initiative and a solution-focused mind set.
We also look for the ability to:
- Multi-task and work across multiple projects
- Manage your own time
- Use Microsoft Office packages
- Work well under pressure and overcome potential barrier.
What We Offer:
Our offices are based in central London, close to Marble Arch, Baker Street and Bond Street stations. We have a relaxed working environment and flat structure.
We will pay your travel expenses to and from work. We will also focus on developing your skills and providing you will real responsibility from day one.
