​We are looking for a Business Development Intern, in order to grow the company and work towards success. Are you interested in developing your personal and professional skills? Are you up for a challenge? Then this might be a match.

Our goal is to provide the best possible service to make our guests feel at home. Over the past years, our company has grown tremendously and in the next five years, University Housing will become one of the Netherlands’ leading players in this field. 


The University Housing team consists of an enthusiastic and hardworking young workforce, motivated to work on their personal growth. They are eager to push themselves to make the company a success and are open to supporting others in their learning process. During your internship, you will fill all our properties with guests and provide them with a suitable home.

Goal of the position:
The Mission of the Tenant Hunt Department is to match the properties with our guests. The experience of a University Housing Guest should be as enjoyable, memorable, and hassle-free as possible. We would like our guests to feel a sense of belonging, home, and happiness, for this, it's important to find housing that matches their needs and wishes.  

The aim is to deliver the best service in our field by delivering constant excellence. You help our possible guests the best way possible by trying to ‘make their day’ by finding their new home for them. You organize viewings and give them their first look at their potential new home. 

During the internship, you will work on creating your own learning plan and be given the opportunity to work on a personal project. You are self-motivated, communicative, able to match, and have what it takes to fill all our properties with guests at all times.

What do we expect from you?

  • Help in improving the sales strategy to generate more leads.

  • Organise and hold viewings with potential customers.

  • Communicate with guests and answer any questions or inquiries.

  • You are proactive and a team player.

  • You have a bold attitude and are not afraid of taking responsibility.

Minimum experience, education & skill requirements:

  • Currently studying a sales-related education at bachelor or masters level. 

  • Full-time Internship of 40 hours, of at least 5 months. 

  • Full Professional Proficiency in English.

  • Some experience in sales or customer service.

  • You are communicative.

  • You are customer oriented.

  • You are persuasive.
