Role Description:

As a full-time Intern in Business Development, you will be the key for the growth and development of our Italian subsidiary, as well as supporting the team in key project-based tasks. 

Finding new interesting markets within Italy for GründerAtelier is your next challenge: any interesting region or city where to play a key role is yours to find. GründerAterlier is  ready to grow across this new market and start playing an important role in the start-up world in Italy. You will support us in discovering the relevant players in the ecosystem, exploring the startup scene and developing relevant connections. 

You will take care of elaborating a go-to-market strategy and help our team in assessing the best way to approach the Italian market. Based on your research and assessment, you will get in touch with driven founders, investors and institutions with the goal of establishing fruitful partnerships.

As Covid-19 brought many challenges for all of us, we offer you the possibility to work on a fully remote basis, so get yourself comfortable and ready to rock, wherever you are!

Your Challenges:

• Analyse the market and understand who are the major key players within the venture capital industry relevant to us

• Carry out in-depth market research, with a particular focus on the Italian market

• Look out for new interesting opportunities to helping our venture achieve growth and objectives

• Connect with the startup and investing funds scene by pitching GründerAtelier and the ventures to founders and institutions, while establishing promising relationships.

• Tracking your success and the development of the teams activities and report them to the founders

• Make ongoing adaptations to the marketing and business development strategy to further ensure success of the expansion

Your Profile:

• Graduated/About to graduate with a degree in Finance, Business, Management, Marketing or similar

• Previous experience working in finance, venture capital, market research, business development, marketing or related fields

• Strong interest in the startup world and willingness to network with important players in the industry

• Excellent knowledge of Google Spreadsheet and Google Slide 

• Analytical mind and ability to organize your work independently while working remotely 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in  Italian and English

• Outgoing nature, confident and charismatic personality and willingness to communicate with people from the start-up world on a daily basis
