Diversity & Inclusion Journey is a consultancy company in the area of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. We help organisations build an inclusive culture and diverse workforce so everyone can reach their full potential. We’re looking for a new Business Development & Sales Intern to help us shape the future of D&I Journey’s B2B efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in Portuguese workplaces.

You have good communication skills, you are enthusiastic and, at the same time, you’re no stranger to crunching numbers and setting goals. Job description - what you will get to do:

  • Support with research on B2B sales & marketing best practices and platforms;

  • Create support materials including ads content, social selling templates, email templates, reports, and others;

  • Assist our Full Stack Marketer with Facebook Ads and Google Ads campaigns to acquire and retain users;

  • Lead generation & sales prospecting for targeted company outreach;

  • Help our B2B team develop client relationship strategies to retain existing accounts;

  • Support lead generation activities, such as event organisation, developing landing pages for campaigns, and others.

Main requirements - you should:

  • Have a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or similar;

  • Fluency in oral and written Portuguese and English;

  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills;

  • Be curious and willing to learn & develop yourself with the support of the team. 

  • Have strong knowledge of PowerPoint (Google Slides) & Excel (Google sheets), and creating professional presentations;

  • Have experience with doing research;

  • Have an analytical mind, using data to improve actions and future strategies;

  • Have problem-solving skills, business judgement, strategic and analytical capabilities;

  • Be comfortable with teamwork skills and have experience in bringing together diverse views

  • Communicate/collaborate effectively;

  • Ability to work independently and proactively being available to take on multiple tasks at once;

  • Passionate about social impact.

Additional Information

What else do you need to know? This is an internship role based in Lisbon; You will report to our DEI Business Developer and Consultant; The internship duration is 3-6 months; You must be available to work 20-40 hours a week.
