Intern will help design chat bot (like messenger chat or whatsapp chat or discord or anything), probably using manychat, chatfuel, or freshchat service in integromat.com web service. Regex knowledge is required. Basic XML and possibly JSON is appreciated. Basic coding skills and understanding of API interfacing is required. Overview of biotech field (or willingness to learn it) is appreciated. Opensourcebiology.eu is our data capture hub for biology that produces 400+ posts daily in the field of in-vitro biology experimentation and statistical post processing and we can arrange its outputs in any possible way we need. Chat bot would basically search for words or phrases in questions and provide answers and capture success of those answers (as rated by the person who asked the question). Eventually machine learning tools will be used but in the first iteration we believe simple "keyword -> post" mapping would be sufficient. It is appreciated if intern knows what taxonomy is and has the creativity to set up new descriptors (meta-tags) for various procedures in biotech research. Google sheets experience is required.
