We operates a collection of well-known boutique hotels, restaurants and shops in Cambodia. A few more are presently under development and we foresee sustained further expansion. We are also advising on the branding, positioning and decoration of some larger hotels operations in the country.

All our projects have a consistent identity: strong characters, great locations, interesting setups and lots of water and greenery. They are aesthetical, respect Architectural Heritage and provide a personalized service. We actively promotes Regional Culture and Responsible Tourism, and strives to always positively maximize guests’ experience of our favorite destinations.

 

INTERNSHIP SUMMARY

 

Assist the Communications Manager in all aspects of his/her duties: ensuring quality and consistent presence of MAADS and its properties on all communication channels on site, off site and digitally in line with the identity defined for each property and MAADS principals.

 

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Assist on and undertake specific communication and social media projects assigned by the Communications Manager.

• Conduct research requested by the Communications Manager.

• Assist with social media postings and management of social platforms.

• Reply to reviews on relevant platforms such as; Google + and Tripadvisor with the guidance and templates created by the Communications Manager.

• Ensure that all online content is correct and up-to-date.

• Distribute promotional material as and when required.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends and industry news.

• Help to update the strategy documents created by the Communications Manager.

• Schedule posts at the Communication Manager’s request.

• Ensure all communication materials are in line with the Brand’s principals.

• Help supervise and coordinate events with the Communications Manager and relevant teams on-site.

• Maintain excellent and ongoing communication with all sister-businesses and GMs.

 

PROFILE / COMPETENCES

 

• Knowledge of key social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google plus.

• Interest in tourism, hospitality trends and Asia in particular.

• Able to follow the guidance of the owners who give the overall tune of the Brand.

• Able to work and communicate with a team.

• Able to meet deadlines and work to tight schedules.

• Fluent in English and Khmer, Chinese and French a plus.

• Willing to grow within a small team but big projects, patient, with good team spirit.

a. Trainee Allowance – 130 USD

b. Transportation Allowance – 20 USD

c. Meals – Free meals during work periods

d. Work Periods – normally they are required to work 5 days a week and the number of hours can be arranged by the Training Supervisor.
