In startup world, ‘unicorn’ is a company valued at over $1 billion. We like to think of AfriKo as a non-profit unicorn - though we haven’t reached that value yet, the organization is growing exponentially. We are a research and consultancy centre busy making and analysing unexpected connections between Lithuania and African countries.

Our most recent achievement - Digital Explorers initiative - facilitates relations between Lithuanian and Nigerian ICT sectors. The EU’s funded pilot sets a stage for creating career enhancement opportunities for Nigerian tech developers through work placement in Lithuanian ICT companies.

❖ Have great communication skills and consider yourself a problem solver
