We are looking for a trainee in Communication!
As our next intern you will become part of our holistic work environment where besides specific fields you will get a chance to also work in the practical workshops and take on and explore other sides of the organisation. We can only accept interns through acredited schemes until the end of August after which we will be restructuring our organisation.(check out our website for more). Starting as soon as possible preferred.
A traineeship in Communication:
During your traineeship in Communication you will be responsible for managing our social media, creating content, coordinating campaigns and press releases. We have a healthy Instagram and Facebook presence that we are always looking to grow and increase engagement. Our primary output is sharing the results of our research, social projects and educational programmes. We publish articles about low-tech sustainable design that we share accross multiple platforms to reach as wide an audience as possible. We are also active on Youtube sharing blogs and research videos. This is another area we are always looking to expand! https://www.youtube.com/c/CriticalConcrete
We always have need for producing graphics for many reasons. Posters for a local event, promotional material for our post graduation, article sliders for research.... the list goes on. Some experience with graphic production is preferrable.

A traineeship in Media Production:
For you, as a trainee in media production the list of tasks and responsibilities includes carrying out the filming and audio recording of the video lecture series we are producing as part of our sustainable online learning platform. Here you will have the responsibility to set up and carry out filming in a studio. Additionally to this the traineeship of media production also includes joining the team in the workshops and during the research processes to film and edit promotional material for Critical Concrete as well as transforming the shot materials into videos for our youtube channel, where we share our research with the wider public.
You will be responsible for editing the videos and coordinating with other team members. Since working as part of the team is essential to our working structure you will have regular feedback and brainstorming sessions to come up with new concepts together with the other team members, making this traineeship a chance to learn how to coordinate and work creatively with a team in this field.
