Description: 

The Global Arena Research Institute is looking for a Communications/Digital Marketing intern.

This position is for a minimum of 6 months, however we will accept candidates for 3 month internships if they are exceptional.

 

This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of the GARI and Next 100 Symposium communications plan. On the 26 -27th May 2021, N100 will bring together the most progressive minds in the technological and computing fields with influential social scientists and thinkers to discuss rising challenges to the global order. In doing so, it will launch a dialogue on all levels about how to use innovative computing capabilities to address challenges being dealt with in the social scientific sphere.

 

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Create and implement online campaigns (SEO, Google Adwords, social media…)  for GARI and the N100

  • Monitor web and social media analytics to identify viable ideas

  • Create engaging social media content

  • Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts

  • Updating web content

  • Other tasks depending on the needs

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Digital Marketing, Communications, or other relevant field of study

  • Prior experience in event communications/marketing/social media

  • A strong knowledge of working with Excel, Google Drive and its Documents is required

  • An interest in technology and social science would be a plus

  • Skills in website editing in Wix, and basic graphic design would be an asset

This position is for a minimum of 6 months, however we prefer long-term candidates (12 months) who can also stay for the duration of the Next 100 Symposium: https://www.next100symposium.org.
