Content creator job description

Erasmus@Cardiff is looking for a content creator to support our marketing initiatives. The content creator will be responsible for developing high-quality copy for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. To do so, they will learn all about and make significant contributions to Erasmus@Cardiff branding and style guide to efficiently maximize the impact of content they generate. They will understand the successes and challenges of content from our market competitors and will share their learnings with coworkers to consistently deliver excellence.

Objectives of this role

  • Maximize consumer engagement with marketing content

  • Share insights on competitors marketing content

  • Develop Erasmus@Cardiff marketing and branding presence throughout all channels

  • Encourage collaboration to unify marketing output

  • Improve Erasmus@Cardiff search engine optimization (SEO) presence

  • Widen Erasmus@Cardiff marketing reach

Responsibilities

  • Use SEO best practices to drive traffic to Erasmus@Cardiff digital channels

  • Collaborate across teams to determine and solve campaign objectives

  • Monitor digital engagement metrics

  • Promote company offerings to reach new audiences

  • Research market trends and developments relevant to campaign subject matter

  • Aid with the visual design of promotional materials

Skills and qualifications

  • Outstanding copywriting, social media, or video production skills

  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices

  • Ability to work effectively 

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills

  • Superb organizational and time-management abilities

  • High degree of computer literacy
