About us: Sapient

We are a social business catalysing sustainable environmental and social impact actions in our society, through multiple projects and collaborations. Sapient Social & Environmental Enterprises was established in 2016 and consists of a team of bright, young inspired individuals, from across the globe who dedicate themselves to stop food waste, renew democracy, provide local green energy solutions, educate and promote decentralising financial systems and help other social businesses in their path to positive impact.

About the Project: Food Circle

Food Circle is a project under Sapient. The aim of Food Circle is to ultimately reduce and prevent food waste. We do this by understanding the behaviour(s) of people that cause food waste and overconsumption, by educating and advocating for this important global challenge and by providing practical solutions that anyone can easily implement into their daily lives to make the world a better, more sustainable place.

Food Circle also strongly supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our aims mainly align with SDG2 (Zero Hunger), SDG12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG13 (Climate Action).

About the Position: Content Writer

Content Writers at Food Circle have many homes - whether it’s with one of our internal projects, or with the blogs we have on our website and our social media platforms.

  • Producing content for Food Circle’s blogs, articles, social media series, product descriptions, and the company website

  • Revising content and suggesting changes to keep the content consistent and clear

  • Collaborating with Social Media, Graphic Design and other Food Circle’s departments.
