Description: 

The Hauts-de-France Europe Direct (Europe Direct Hauts-de-France) is the official information centre about the European Union in the region.

We are looking for 2 interns from European Union.

Description : Their main missions will be to give presentations and prepare activities in english in a secondary school to speak about their own cultures, customs and diversity and make the pupils learn english. They will also have the opportunity to create educational tools (e.g.games and posters) and new concepts for presentations. The interns will participate in children’s activity center as well (sport, games…).

They will also take part in forum and hold information stands on the theme of mobility (Cap sur le monde, marchés de Noël) to inform a large public about European Union.

The interns will work towards the following learning outcomes: French language skills, knowledge of the European Union and its workings, workings of French associations and French administration, working in a multicultural environment and working with different sectors of the public.

The interns will be mainly work in the secondary school Louis Pasteur in Nesle and sometimes with Europe Direct’s team in Amiens. A  flat with 2 bedrooms is already prepared to welcome the 2 interns in Nesle.

 

Duration : January 2022 to june 2022 

Allowance : The interns will receive an allowance of 3,90€ per hour in addition to Erasmus + grant.

Working time : Most of the time, the team works between Monday to Friday 35 hours per week. Some activities require to work during evenings or weekends (more days off can be taken).
