Culture Management Internship

In the internship we offer insights into the organizational and artistic workflow of our modern dance company, TANZ_KASSEL.

With its dance director, Thorsten Teubl, TANZ_KASSEL has been newly formed and is working with a curatorial model that is fully committed to the diversity and internationality of contemporary dance. Various ambitious international guest choreographers will create new pieces for the company and offer dancers the chance to experience an extraordinary variety of choreographic styles and to dance an unusually wide repertoire.

Tasks could be:

-       Support in the preparation and realization of our events
-       Communication with external cooperation partners
-       Assistance with the preparation of contracts
-       Co-conception and organization of events and projects of the current program and evaluation of events
-       Support in the implementation of events
-       Participation in internal meetings and events
-       General office tasks and office organization
-       Coordination of appointments
-       Taking notes and general coordination of meetings
-       Basic assistance responsibilities

We are a recognized institution for an Erasmus internship. We would be interested in a longer-term internship and offer a place for 1/2 to a whole year. There is no salary for this internship - but a job ticket for the public transport in Kassel will be provided. Kassel is an interesting regional center in Northern Hesse. The Staatstheater Kassel is the largest and most important cultural institution in Northern Hesse, and it’s a theater with 5 divisions: opera, drama, young state theater, concert and a contemporary dance company.
