Description: 

Divento.com is a fast growing internet startup based in the UK with a presence in many European cities. Our algorithm generates the most efficient itinerary for travellers visiting a city depending on their preferences, opening and closing hours and dates and geographical location. We also offer a low-cost multi-lingual booking solution for smaller venues and tourist attractions.

 

We are looking for an Erasmus student to help us, starting anytime from August 2021 onwards. The internship can be done online or in one of our offices. Please note that it's no longer possible to do the entire internship in London, but Dublin is a very popular alternative. Minimum three months. Six months preferable

Main tasks: 

 

  • Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering departments to understand company needs and devise possible solutions
  • Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends
  • Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers
  • Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis​

 

Optimise joint development efforts through appropriate database use and project design. Our leading data management and integration organisation is currently in need of a Data Scientist to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will be intricately involved in running analytical experiments in a methodical manner, and will regularly evaluate alternate models via theoretical approaches. This is the perfect opportunity for the successful candidate to become a part of an innovative and energetic team that develops analysis tools which will influence both our products and clients.

 

Data Scientist responsibilities and duties
