For our Customer Master Data department, we are currently searching for 2 Admin, IT, or Marketing students to join our global team based in Barcelona, Spain for a 12 to 13 months internship program.

 

What we expect from you:

FIRST 3 MONTHS

During the first 3 months, you will be attending various trainings as our department deals with various organizations. Over the course of your trainings you will become familiar and experienced with the importance of DATA GOVERNANCE in any company. Eventually you will become more and more independent. (There will be always a mentor assigned to you – from the beginning of your internship)

Even before you finish your core responsibilities training, you will be ready to learn how to manage the quality of our database as we do that in phases.

 

FROM 4 to 12-13 MONTHS

As you will be familiar with our main responsibilities in creating and maintaining data, you will start joining our various project management initiatives.

Your tasks:

  • Create and update customer records based on users’ requests
  • Validate information using specific tools/processes
  • Be proactive in identifying/correcting invalid/incorrect customer information based on reports
  • Identify ideas/ways to perform cleanup more effectively and efficiently, through formulas, reports, analysis
  • Be in direct contact with our global Customer Contact Centers (and other departments)
  • Contribute with ideas on data quality initiatives, through researches, analysis, reports and presentations
  • Participate in projects involving the team and other departments, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of our customer database, process improvement, automations, etc.

  • Learn the latest industry big-corporation buzzwords: ERP, CRM, CIM, MDM, BIG DATA, INDUSTRY SEGMENTATION, MARKETING AUTOMATION, ETC…. This will help you to understand some key concepts for companies.
  • Become familiar with system/applications used by the most important companies: You will work with Oracle, Siebel and SalesForce.
  • Acquire (or improve) soft/skills as you will be working in a multinational environment:
  • Participate in multicultural/international conferences
  • Be exposed to different cultures
  • Help in driving projects for a specific country (or even internationally)
  • Practice your presentation / communication skills
  • Work individually and as a team-player
  • Improve your MS OFFICE and other SW knowledge as you will work with various applications used by the industry
  • Learn and develop techniques on the BI (i.e. business intelligence) area as you will work with reports
  • Join meetings where you will hear about B2B benchmark, continuous process improvement techniques (e.g. LEAN, SIX SIGMA, etc…) and will be given the opportunity to ask/learn/contribute.
  • Work with various departments (e.g. finance, sales, IT, etc….)

To be successful in this position, you will need: - To be studying towards a degree in Administration, IT or Marketing - To be fluent in English both written and oral (basic Russian, German, French or other Nordics language would be a plus) - Creative and goal-oriented thinking - Knowledge on MS OFFICE - Good communication skills - Accuracy and quality oriented - Proactive - Team player
