Description:
Academia AHOY Córdoba, a family-run language school founded in 2013, is looking for YOU to:
- join our international team of English teachers/assistants for 3 months during the school year 2020-2021
- teach English as a foreign language to small groups of young learners, teenagers and adults
- help our students improve their English skills and expand their cultural undersanding
- evaluate our students' progress using Cambridge English assessment
- prepare and organise teaching resources
Working with us, YOU will have an opportunity to:
- get valuable experience teaching various age groups and levels (from 3-year-olds to adults, from beginners to advanced levels)
- use your creativity and organise workshops, conversation classes, game sessions, etc.
- be a part of a young, enthusiastic and friendly international team
- improve your Spanish skills and get to know Andalucía

At Academia AHOY we have a variety of courses, ages (from 3-year-old children to adults) and levels (beginner to advanced). | Our team consists of teachers and trainees from various parts of Europe and countries such as Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy, Romania, etc. | We require a minimum level of English B2. Basic knowledge of Spanish language is an advantage, as well as previous teaching experience with young learners. | Please note there is NO summer internship and there is NO financial contribution for this short-term traineeship and the trainee must be eligible for the Erasmus+ grant to cover their living costs. Also, the trainee is expected to arrange their health insurance for the whole duration of their stay. | Pre-selected candidates will be interviewed via Skype/Meet and will also get a chance to talk to our current teachers and interns. | From past experience, there is a possibility for the trainee to be offered a work contract with us after the end of their traineeship, depending on the trainee's profile, performance and mutual agreement.
