General information
Celignis (www.celignis.com) is a biomass analysis laboratory that handles large amounts of data.
Our particular focus is on providing analyses for sustainable technologies that can reduce the world's dependence on fossil fuels for the production of energy and products.
Much of the work we do focuses on the use of biomass and residual materials.
One such process using biomass and residues is anaerobic digestion. It produces a biogas that can be used to make energy. However, the process is complicated and requires maintenance and optimisation.
We are planning to develop a web-based tool that will take a wide variety of data and link these to plant performance metrics. The tool will then provide recommendations to the user in terms of the next steps that should be taken in order to make sure that the efficiency of the anaerobic digestion facility is as high as possible.
For this internship we are looking for someone with good programming experience that is comfortable developing websites, using a wide variety of tools, and handling large volumes of data.
We will provide extensive training on the important data related to anaerobic digestion and the design and implementation of the web-based tool.
Please note that we are not able to provide any financial support for this internship.
