Devops Engineer (Remote/Online or Istanbul, Turkey)

Are you interested in running cloud applications but developing them at the same time? Are you interested in challenges of scaling software systems on the cloud? Our internship would be a great opportunity for you the learn and develop yourself in these areas. You would work as a part of a team of your peers and help develop and scale a novel hosting environment. As a Devops Engineer, your tasks will include, but not limited to the following:

• Collaborate with coworkers to conceptualize, develop, deploys, verify and monitor applications and services
• Roll out fixes and upgrades to software, as needed
• Collect and review feedback to enhance user experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Build a strong relationship with the development teams to understand the code, its dependencies, and the infrastructure on which it runs

Requirements for application*:

1. Cover Letter: Please detail how your previous experiences relate to the description of the internship.
2. Written Essay/Description: Describe briefly one involved project that you have developed (a git repository link would be a plus) in the past and the challenges you faced while running it in a production environment and how you resolved them.

Field of Study:  Computer Networking, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Electrical/Industrial Engineering or similar.

Minimum 4 semesters of university level courses or equivalent other educational experience.
