DevOps Engineer / specialist for Tech Startup

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer / specialist that can help us build a platform that will change humanity because the next personal computer - is you. 

Our aim is to solve humanity's personal development and ageing challenges by creating your Personal Digital Twin using a simple chat interface and structured learning algorithms. The digital twin learns by asking many questions while giving the user valuable insights into their cognitive, biometric and genetic states with the added benefit of achieving immortality through data. Our current advisor list includes experts from Apple (Siri), Microsoft, the National Academy of Science and US Department of Health and Human Services.

You MUST be inrolled in an European University with an Erasmus Office for this internship!

To be successful in this role, we need people that are interested in this field with expertise related to building cutting edge applications using the latest in cloud technology, Web3, and mobile. As a Back-end developer you will be working closely with our other developers, designers, and other stake holders to build our infrastrutcure and improve our current tech stack.

What we are looking for:

• Exceptional Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with Open Source Technologies with some exposure to core and database technologies
• Fluent in scripting & programming languages, such as Javascript, Python, etc.
• Experience in working with large-scale cloud platforms and maintaining Azure-based environments.
• Hands-on experience using Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge in fully automated Infra-As-Code deployments
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Good experience and understanding of Automation Technologies.
• IT Operations – ability to work under pressure with an understanding of Cloud Platforms
• Cloud security best practices Enterprise architecture Assessment of emerging technology, frameworks, products, and tools.
• Experience monitoring highly available applications and core systems

Some of the technologies you’ll be working with:

• Scripting & Programming languages such as JavaScript,
• Cloud Platforms such as Azure.
• Automation Technologies such as Terraform & kubescape.
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins & GitHub Actions.
• You maintain and Improve CI/CD and automated testing pipelines.

Your tasks:

• Help us come up with new technologies to implement into our tech stack.
• Implement and test new features
• Attend team meetings and workshops
• Work on R&D projects and support our pipeline of features

Your profile:

• MsC. senior level student.
• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure would be a plus
• Interested in frontier technologies and best practice engineering
• Able to communicate easily in English with the rest of the team.

Compensation:

• €200 per month + Erasmus stipend

Location:

• We´re flexible, you can be either in Prague or work remotely

• No professional experience needed but we expect that you have created something in that past to show us that was out of your own Passion.
