General information
e paramount objectives of the DMM is to increase:- guest bookings and- increase online guest review ratings. This is achieved by:Increase Bookings- Reaching out to potential long-term guests in London or who are coming to London through e.g. FB Groups such as Spanish in London/Spanish coming to London- Contacting people on SpareRoom.com and other websites where people look for accommodation- Identify organisations that are either:a. – based locallyb. – might have their members visit locally (eg for an event/holiday)And email them with a view to setting up a discount for their membersWe have a 10% discount code to share with any potential new guests to incentivise them to book with usIdentify potential Group Bookings and contact them to generate new bookings Increase online customer guest ratings- Messaging guests after they check out to obtain feedback and then to:(1) feedback comments to manager(2) Try to get those with positive feedback to leave us a review- Managing our social media (mainly Facebook) through at least one posting per shift.- Generating content for social media postings e.g. pictures, posters designed on PC - Compiling and updating our database of customer reviews through monitoring of our extranet- Drafting responses to customer reviews on those websites Its 5 days a week 9am-4pm with 1 hour break so 30 hours per week in total (flexible on this). You do not have a stay with us but can work remotely. If you wish to stay with us we would provide accommodation in a dorm, use of laundry facilities (to wash and dry your clothes and bed linen), free breakfast and free dinner (which you'd be responsible for delivering) and of course wifi. There is also free food available at other times to e.g. cook lunch/snacks. This includes basic food stuffs such as bread, milk, pasta, rice etc If there's anything else you want ordered that you eat then as long as its reasonable and basic we'll buy it. If interested please confirm dates of availability and please can you arrange for your university to email me with the following statement: “I hereby certify that [insert name of student] is undertaking a higher education course in [State name of course and university], and before the course ends is required, as part of that course, to attend a period of work experience not exceeding one year. The work offered by Saint James Backpackers meets that requirement and this University supports his/her work experience there.”
