Double Bass

We are looking for responsible, engaged, dynamic  interns  willing to learn and to participate in our projects and to play in the orchestra. The internship includes studying before the rehearsals according to the program decided by the conductor.  During the period of internship  the Orchestra has international  festivals  in which the intern would be included:   International  Opera Arias Festival  - Tino Pattiera and International  Late Summer Music Festival  Dubrovnik. An internship contract must be signed between your University and  the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra before the internship starts.  Period of the internship is 25th June 2021 till 25th September  2021.  We work from our office in Dubrovnik, that is located in the Old Town (listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list).

Unfortunately because of pandemic we cannot help students financially, but we will help them find accommodation. Of course we will provide them  a transfer from the airport to the apartment when they come in Dubrovnik.

A short video interview will be scheduled with selected candidates. The interview will be with our chief conductor Marc Tardue.

If intern is interested  to apply  they should  send us an application letter  and CV. Also we need  audio or video  movement of one classic and one romantic concerto by candidates choice, professional quality not necessary. Candidates may play from a parts.
