As a Dramaturgy and Research Intern at The Airport Society you will closely collaborate with our artistic team and be involved in research, development and production of new artistic projects in the field of opera and music theatre. You will often act as the first point of contact with collaborating artists and organisations in Belgium and internationally. Due to the current travel restriction this internship can be carried in a digital way (online). 


Tasks are likely to include: 

  • carrying out research (text- and visuals-based)
  • assisting by concept development
  • putting together concept presentations and project portfolios 
  • writing, editing and proofreading dramaturgical and communication texts
  • occasionaly translating texts
  • writing and editing grants applications
  • liaise with collaborating artists and organisations in order to carry out specific projects
  • occasionally facilitating contacts with the press and media
