English Language Assistant

Are you a recent graduate who would love to spend some time teaching and living in Spain?  Here is your opportunity!

 The Official Language School of Rivas (Escuela Oficial de Idiomas Rivas) is a regional public state-run language school aimed at teaching English, French and German to adult students in Madrid.

We are eager to host motivated English teachers who would be willing to spend from 1 week to 3 months at our school and gain some valuable international experience in the field of teaching modern languages to adult students as well as a unique opportunity to learn about our culture and education system. As a language assistant, you will be an integral part of our teaching team.

If you choose to do your internship at our school, you are sure to find the perfect place to meet all the training needs you might have and enjoy your time while learning about our educational and cultural organisation.

You will be provided with a personal internship programme, as well as individual attention and support throughout your stay to ensure that you progress rapidly and achieve your training objectives. Our highly qualified and dedicated teachers will accompany you throughout your stay and will put your needs and preferences first. We might be able to find you accommodation in a host family.

KEY TASKS

During your stay you will:

--Attend staff meetings

--attend classes and participate in class activities

PROFILE

You need to be a native English speaker (C2 level).

You need to have some qualifications or direct involvement in education.

Be energetic and proactive with no criminal record.
