English-speaking teaching assistant in Italian High School

We are an Italian high school located in Olbia (Sardinia) with students aged from 14 to 19.

We are looking for an English-speaking Erasmus+ assistant for next school year. The ideal candidate is a university student or a recent graduate selected by his/her university for an Erasmus+ Traineeship Grant. Duration of the traineeship could vary from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 8 months, from October 2019 to May 2020.

The assistant would represent a language and cultural resource for the whole school and his/her participation in all activities would be strongly encouraged. He/She would be expected to cooperate with our English language teachers as well as with other teachers and would be involved in tasks such as: conversation classes, support to small groups of students, promotion of active citizenship and intercultural consciousness, presentation of his/her own country and culture and of any subject he/she is expert in.

Excellent command (at least C1 level) of the English language is required, with a preference given to native speakers.
