Description: 

The duties and responsibilities of the English Teaching Assistant are as follows:

​a)To contribute to the acquisition of specific skills related to oral comprehension, expression and interaction in the foreign language being studied.
b) To provide a model of linguistic correction in the corresponding language.
c) To participate in activities organised by the teachers responsible for the groups that encourage the improvement of linguistic skills in the foreign language.
d) In addition to the time of direct attention to the students, the conversation assistants will coordinate with the CLIL coordinator and/or teachers of the groups in the preparation of classroom activities and will collaborate in the development of teaching materials in the corresponding foreign language.
e) To bring the students closer to the culture of the country where the foreign language is spoken, through the presentation of current topics and recreational and communicative activities.
f) On a voluntary basis, they may participate, as a language assistant, in the complementary and extracurricular activities that take place within the national territory and are organised by the centre to which they are assigned, without this entailing any responsibility for the participating students or the activity carried out. At no time will they perform the work corresponding to accompanying teachers.
g) Respect the Rules of Organization and Operation of educational centers, as well as Spanish legislation.
​h) Collaborate and follow the instructions of the CLIL coordinator, who will be their point of reference at the centre, as well as the rest of the teachers involved, for the development of their collaboration in the classroom
i) Communicate and justify to the management team of the destination centre, in the specific manner established by it, the incidents that prevent compliance with the schedule.
