Description: 

This internship is aimed at students, graduates and jobseekers who are interested in gaining experience in an international environment. You will learn about business administration and tourism while getting an insight into the running of a language school. 

The length of the internship would be between  4.5 to 6 months starting on 15th August 2022. 

We are looking for an Italian speaker. If you have any experience with Canva, Facebook and Google advertisements that would be a plus, but it's not required - you will learn during your internship!

We are looking for someone who will provide support in the following areas:

Work with the Admissions Department:

Overseeing the general Atlas enquiries email account, answer emails or forward emails to the respective  department or staff member in charge.

  • Answering email enquiries, mainly:

    • English course enquiries;

    • Modern Foreign Language (MFL) course enquiries;

    • Accommodation enquiries;

    • Visa related enquiries;

    • Exam related enquiries;

    • Questions about the school, Dublin and Ireland in general.

    • Covering phone calls.

    • Book students in our school management system SAM.

    • Submit booking details and generate and send invoices and confirmations.

    • Preparing documents such as visa application documents or scholarship application documents as required.

    • Taking course payments.

Work with the Academic Department to:

  • Conduct week one tutorials with new students.

  • Take new students to their classrooms on their first day.

  • Support on exam test days as Marshal during exams, if required. 

Work with Front of House to:

  • Support as social programme leader, if required. 

  • Help out with social evenings and student events in the school, if required.

  • Support reception at busy times, if needed.

Work with the Marketing department:

  • Compiling online marketing reports and statistics (using different tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, school management system SAM, Agile CRM, etc.)

    • Booking report

    • Web traffic reports

    • Conversion reports

  • Maintaining, editing and creating content

    • Website (WordPress)

    • Web directories and platforms 

    • Keyword work (Google AdWords and on-page)

  • On-site SEO

  • Lead generation and lead nurturing

    • Email workflows

  • Conducting Internet research / Competitor analysis.

 

Compensation and benefits:

Salary: € 500 per month basic pay

Accommodation: 2 free weeks in a host family homestay (after the two free weeks this would be €170 / week including breakfast and dinner).

In addition to this, you're more than welcome to take part in our part-time evening language classes throughout your stay and you can sit a Cambridge Exam for free.

There are also opportunities to attend our social programme activities for free or at a 50% discount.
