WHO CAN APPLY?
Anybody with a good grasp of spoken English, who gets along well with children, loves to laugh and make others do the same! You have to be interested in sports activities and to be ready create new games for kids. You must be outgoing, and not be afraid to step with us into the realm of fantasy and make-belief. Of course, you must be responsible too – but don’t forget to have fun!

WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED OF YOU AS an INTERN?
Creating, organizing and supervising sport activities. Speaking in English and enjoying our various activities alongside the children. Leading small groups in accordance with the plan of the day. Being responsible for the health, safety and welfare of our camp participants.

CAMPS’ AIM?
The main aim of the camp is to provide our children with the English-speaking experience, filled with a range of both educational and fun activities which – together with your input – will leave them with a life-long love of the English language.

WHO’S TAKING PART?
50 children aged from 8-12 in each of four camps, in addition to our staff and fellow volunteers. Most of the children speak Latvian as their native language, however they are all able to communicate in English on at least a basic level. All the same, they will be at the camp to practice their English as much as possible. As a intren, no knowledge of the Latvian language is required!
